Few Scottish wedding venues offer the romantic history of Gretna Green. Here at The Mill Forge we are just miles away from the famous wedding town, which is close enough to be touched by the romance, yet far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist areas.
Located near the Scotland / England border, we have a unique wedding venue, individual function rooms, thirty-three ensuite bedrooms, an experienced wedding planner team and stunning gardens.
Scottish Wedding Venues - Your Ceremony Venue
Our ceremony venue has an open timber roof, soft music and romantic candlelight combining to create the romantic atmosphere of a traditional chapel.
Brides take a walk down the aisle to be married over the anvil by either a local minister or a registrar. Couples can arrange for a professional wedding photographer and a Scottish piper to accompany them around our manicured gardens.
