Contact us on 01461 800344 to discuss the availability of your chosen date(s). You can then make a provisional booking which we hold for 10 days without any obligation or deposit.
The provisional booking would include your wedding venue, accommodation and wedding meal as required.
Decide whether you would like either a religious or civil ceremony. Details of how to book either ceremony can be found by following the steps below.
Confirm the booking by sending the necessary deposits within 10 days of making the provisional booking. The deposits we require are £20 per room per night , full payment for the Forge and £5 per person for the reception meal.
Religious Ceremony
1) Contact us on 01461 800344 to make a provisional booking which would be held for 10 days.
2) Contact a Minister from the list which we will provide you with, and arrange for their services.
3) If you haven't already done so then you MUST contact Gretna Registration Office on 01461 337648 to obtain the necessary legal paperwork (M10 forms)*. Or visit their website www.gretnaonline.net
4) Return The Forge booking form to us signed and completed with the Minister's name and full payment for the Forge.
5) When we have received The Forge booking form and payment for the hire of The Forge we will send you confirmation of your booking.
Civil Ceremony
1) Contact us on 01461 800344 to make a provisional booking which would be held for 10 days.
2) If you haven't already done so then you MUST contact Gretna Registration Office on 01461 337648 to obtain the necessary legal paperwork (M10 forms)*. Or visit their website www.gretnaonline.net
3) Return The Forge booking form to us signed, completed and ticked for a registrar along with full payment for the Forge.
4) When we have received The Forge booking form and payment for the hire of The Forge we will apply for the registrar on your behalf. Once the registrar has confirmed to us that they will be able to attend, we will send both our and their confirmation to you.
5) The registrar's confirmation will have a footnote detailing any payments they require you to make.
*The M10 Marriage Notice forms must be returned to Gretna Registry Office between 3 months and 15 days prior to your big day.
Book any other services for your big day. These may include a piper, a photographer, a florist, a beautician etc.
